We’re Hiring an Executive Director

Primary Responsibilities:

Supports operations and administration of SCLMB and staff

Serves as ex officio member of all board committees

Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services as required by SCLMB through legislative mandates

Develops and strengthens partnerships with key stakeholders, state governing boards and governing bodies, and local constituencies

Recommends yearly budget for SCLMBD approval and manages organization’s resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations

Assures the SCLMB, its vision, funded programs and partners are consistently presented in strong and empowering images to stakeholders

Attends all meetings, both local and state, as required by the position, representing Somerset County’s interests Assess and plan for county’s needs Monitor and evaluate all SCLMB funded programs

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related business, human services, or technical field 3 to 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified

Extensive grants management and grant writing experience

Knowledge of program development, monitoring, and outcomes measurement

Experience managing budgets of $200,000-plus Supervisory experience Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in a related field

Experience working for a nonprofit agency

Experience in human services or other relevant field

Knowledge of child and family-serving agencies in Somerset County


Contractual, no benefits

Salary range $55,000-$62,000 annually

Full-time 40 hours per week Flexible hours, friendly work environment
